Learn To Think Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Many apartment owners and managers continue to do things as they have done for years. This has got to stop. You will miss opportunities to attract new tenants as well as retain current tenants if you do not do a paradigm shift in your thinking. Things have changed dramatically and one must embrace these changes to stay profitable.

This audio session by Paul Flogstad, examines the changing demographics of residents and potential residents, from the baby boomers to the millennial generation. How do we market to them? What are their actual expectations? What are the usual techniques that keep good tenants so that they will renew their lease? What about the social media? What are their unspoken expectations? Each age range is broken down to answer these and many more questions. This gives the managers an idea for better responses and a better use of advertising dollars.

Session highlights:

  • What are the different generations?
  • How to market to each generation.
  • What advertising works?
  • What does each generation value in an apartment?
  • What are the keys to marketing to each generation?
  • What communication platforms work and what ones do not work.
  • Learn to think out of your comfort zone.
