Don’t Delay In Gaining The Skills To Avoid Your Next Violation

Register now for this 60-minute webinar in which our expert speaker, Paul Flogstad, will provide practical strategies for avoiding Fair Housing complaints—and for treating all employees and residents equally.

Over 60 percent of Fair Housing complaints arise from maintenance issues. Does your housing property’s maintenance staff know how to properly interact with managers, tenants, and colleagues? Many property managers and maintenance staff need to attend Fair Housing education every two years. If a complaint is filed, the first thing HUD will ask is: “When was your last Fair Housing training?” Don’t delay in gaining the skills to avoid your next violation.

This information-packed webinar program will answer these key questions:

  • What is Fair Housing?
  • What are the protected classes?
  • What are the penalties of a Fair Housing complaint?
  • When are work orders needed?
  • What is harassment? And how can you avoid harassment claims?
  • What should you do if you’re accused of violating Fair Housing?

This presentation is appropriate for: Property managers, property owners, maintenance staff, leasing consultants, realtors, and other professionals involved in providing assisted housing.

After attending this webinar, you and your maintenance staff will be well equipped to develop a maintenance program that will avoid Fair Housing issues. You’re guaranteed to have an “aha!” moment when you compare what you’re doing now versus what you should be doing to comply with the federal Fair Housing Act. Be sure your staff is knowledgeable and compliant—register today!
