Don’t Let USDA Compliance Leave You Seeing ‘RED’

No one ever said that understanding the details of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) rural economic development (RED) housing program would be easy. But complying with this federal program is crucial for those who offer—or want to offer—affordable housing to low-income tenants in rural areas.

Learn how to successfully manage RED properties in this information-packed audio conference from industry veteran Paul Flogstad. Relying on his nearly four decades of housing industry expertise, Flogstad will unravel the complicated rules that apply to USDA housing assistance programs.

After attending this audio event, you will be fully equipped to comply with USDA program operations. You will understand what monthly and annual reports to provide— and how to prepare for and handle site visits. While the RED program is similar to many U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) projects, the program does set different standards, including those for rents and utility allowances. Don’t get confused! Get the guidance you need.
